I am so very happy with what it does for me, my sking has always been dry and as i have aged it has become creapy it wasnt my intention to resolve it with this purchase but i can see a difference totally unexpected. My initial intention was more so for my grandson and son who has icthiois and what it might do for him. Trying to find anything without a fragrance and hydrating is tough, and you are right the smell of the leves is not a perfume or fragrance. He loves it and we are nowhopeful with prolonged use the issues that come with the skin condition can be relieved. For me the added benefit of making the crapey skin look better was a bonus i didnt expect
Damascus soap is soothing for my eczema which is sensitive to most other soap. The mini size is convenient for travel. I am happy to recommend Damascus soap.

Yesterday I was able to have an opportunity to use this beautiful product after eyeing it for quite sometime . I have added it to my new fitness bag . The laurel/ olive oil soap was used as a body and hair wash bar and rinsed very nicely. A soft and fresh scent lingers which I appreciate. The company is a family run and owned . I love all the Damascus soaps. I've tried so many soaps over the years and I always come back to these, especially the 3 month aged ones. They last so incredibly long.
I use the mini bars for my hair in the shower and the larger bar for the rest of me. Leaves my hair soft and silky. I have old lady hair that is quite fine and appreciate a gentler shampoo. Regular liquid shampoos can be so harsh, even the so-called “gentle” ones.
